Lone Star Pace Selected as a Dallas County C-PACE Program Administrator
C-PACE project financing exceeds $210m throughout Texas since 2013
[FRISCO, TX, February 15, 2022] — Lone Star PACE was selected by the Dallas County Commissioners as a Program Administrator for the Dallas County Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) program. C-PACE provides long term, low cost financing for energy and water efficiency upgrades that are secured by a voluntary assessment on the properties.
The Program Administrator selection followed a lengthy procurement process, including an extensive Request for Proposal issued by the County over the summer of 2021. Lone Star PACE will provide marketing and administrative services to promote and manage the C-PACE program throughout Dallas County in the coming years.
As a Dallas County C-PACE Administrator, Lone Star PACE will ensure adherence to program requirements of the County. Lone Star PACE will also provide education to various stakeholders, such as commercial property owners, contractors, Economic Development Councils and Chambers of Commerce. Their goal is to promote awareness of the Dallas County C-PACE program and to serve as a point of contact for those wishing to learn more. Special attention will be paid to underserved communities to promote opportunities across all demographics.
“We see great opportunity to spread inclusive prosperity and sustainability to more businesses and communities in Texas with the adoption of PACE,” says Lone Star PACE CEO, Lee McCormick. “Dallas County has been at the center of Texas’ recovery and growth, and has demonstrated a commitment towards sustainability over the years. C-PACE is a logical extension of those goals. We are honored to help implement this program with them.”
Lone Star PACE begins its role immediately. They welcome inquiries from commercial property owners, managers and commercial lenders, as well as from organizations working with underserved communities to arrange for future educational programs.
