Collin County is a crucial part of Texas history. It was named for Texas founding father Collin McKinney… one of the drafters of the Texas Declaration of Independence. As the sixth-most-populous county in Texas, and home to major DFW cities like Plano, McKinney, Frisco, and Allen, it also plays a big role in Texas’ future.

Directly north of Dallas County, Collin County is home to many major employers, a robust college and continuing education community (and home to the #1 undergraduate campus in the US for National Merit Scholars), over 20 school districts, and 20+ cities and towns.

Collin County Commissioners Court authorized the use of PACE financing in 2022 and selected Lone Star PACE as its Program Administrator.

Collin County is a prime region for redevelopment and reinvestment, along with commercial property development including hospitality, mixed-use, retail, industrial, and multi-family — so PACE might be an attractive financing tool to include in your capital stack.

More information may be found in our latest Annual Report, which includes examples of some recent PACE projects.
