Woodview Tower in Dallas is a 200,000-square-foot, 13-story office tower conveniently located near Dallas Love Field Airport. At the time of the application, the property was being renovated, and the owner opted to incorporate energy- and water-saving improvements that qualified for C-PACE financing.
Impact
By obtaining C-PACE financing, the property owner was able to upgrade the building’s envelope, lighting, HVAC and elevators, which enabled Dallas County to advance their sustainability and economic development goals while significantly reducing demand on local utilities. The associated improvements are expected to reduce the property’s annual electricity usage by 67%.
